In part 2 of our series on Trip Planning for Truck Driving School Students we are looking at the basic principals needed to track your trips. The best place to start would be at your local community college, which may have a program for you to join. Driving a truck, especially an 18-wheeler is not something that you can just begin to do. You do need practice, and the school will help you with that process. The school will also get you ready to sit for your CDL or commercial copyright exam. School is not required to receive your CDL, but the test is much easier if you have had the training a good school can provide.

However, knowing about the Bubble involves more than just keeping open space around you whenever it's convenient. It also means being aware of whatever space there is. It means checking behind and to the sides frequently and being aware of what other drivers are doing.
All in all we know that you can make a lot of money trucking. At first you will be running right along with the school of hard knocks. But as you go along with it and learn from your mistakes you will become a pro. Trucking will become second nature to you as you already have met the CDL requirements. Report this page
